Be sure to mark Thursday, May 3rd on your
calendar and save that date for the 25th
Annual Breakfast with the Stars. The
breakfast will begin at 7 am. More
information will be place on our website
soon to let you know how to reserve your
seat!
Legacy Brick
Plaza
 The highly
anticipated Legacy Brick Plaza, located
near the Irving Schools Stadium main
entrance will be a prominent Irving ISD
landmark and source of pride to Irving
ISD students, staff, alumni, and
partners.
The centerpiece of
the Legacy Plaza is 1,980 bricks with each
one bearing the name of the honoree. An
alumnus may purchase a brick to commemorate
his or her school years, a parent may honor
a graduate or future graduate, or an alumnus
may honor a teacher. A Legacy brick is a
permanent means to honor an individual,
group, or corporation that is special to
you.

Breakfast With The Stars
The Irving Schools Foundation held the 24th annual
recognition breakfast honoring scholarship recipients on
Thursday, May 5th at the Irving Convention Center. The
event honored 110 exceptional students who were awarded
scholarships valued at over $160,000, along with two
outstanding teacher scholarships. |
New
Opportunities with UNCF Scholarships
 For
the first time, scholarships will be
offered, through the Irving Schools
Foundation, to deserving seniors to
attend a UNCF college or university. For
those of you that are not familiar, UNCF
is the nation's largest and most
effective minority education
organization.

6th Annual Fall Education
Luncheon
Irving Schools Foundation teams up once again with
the Greater Irving/Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce to
present the 6th Annual Fall Education Luncheon. |
