Approved Resolution #10-11-58 renewing a membership agreement with Prospering Pals Cooperative in partnership with Coppell ISD for the purpose of processing USDA commodities for the IISD Food Service Department.

Approved Resolution #10-11-59 accepting a proposal from Verizon to install and provide Ethernet wide area network equipment for Lady Bird Johnson Middle School and approving a service agreement for a total discounted cost to the district of $2,777.

Approved Resolution #10-11-60 accepting construction document phase for Brandenburg Elementary School bond construction project, which is the final opportunity for administration to review the project before competitive bidding for work completion begins.

Approved Resolution #10-11-61 accepting construction document phase for Good Elementary School bond construction project.

Approved Resolution #10-11-62 accepting construction document phase for Davis Elementary School bond construction project.

Approved Resolution #10-11-63 authorizing final payment of $339,701 and accepting closeout documentation to complete the Barbara Cardwell Career Preparatory Center bond construction project.

Approved Resolution #10-11-64 authorizing final payment of $181,659 and accepting closeout documentation to complete the Townley Elementary School bond construction project.

Approved Resolution #10-11-65 authorizing the purchase of four Chevrolet cargo vans, a Ford crew-cab truck and a Chevrolet Suburban through an agreement with Texas Procurement & Support Services to provide the best value for IISD at a total cost of $114,465.

Approved Resolution #10-11-66 designating Sowers Road and Pioneer Road in the vicinity of de Zavala Middle School as a Temporary Hazardous Route, which authorizes IISD to provide transportation for students living less than 2 miles from de Zavala along the route.

Approved Resolution #10-11-67 authorizing the purchase of M86 web filtering software and network security services through an agreement with Dallas County Schools to enhance the safety and security of the IISD computer network for a total cost to the district of $116,341.

Approved Resolution #10-11-68 authorizing the purchase of athletic weight-training equipment through an agreement with Promaxima and TASB Buyboard for Irving High School, MacArthur High School, and Nimitz High School for a total cost to IISD of $95,876 to be paid for by district and donated funds.

Approved Resolution #10-11-71 authorizing a revised promotion and development agreement with Irving Schools Foundation.

Approved Resolution #10-11-72 accepting the hiring, contract renewal and resignation of district employees as recommended by the superintendent of schools.

Approved Resolution #10-11-73 accepting the donation of gifts and funds to the Irving ISD for the month of December in the amount of $100,000.

Received announcements from district administrators regarding the Irving Celebration of Excellence Awards scheduled for February 24, 2011; the Technology Media Fair January 27; the accomplishment of Irving High School Senior Susan Taylor being named to the Texas All-State Band; and information about filing for IISD Board of Trustees election in 2011.
