Manry Honored as Educator of the
Month
Kyra Manry, school nurse
at Union Bower, was honored as Educator of the Month for February. Manry
has served the District for six years. She has implemented prenatal
curriculum for the Teenage Pregnancy and Parenting Program. She has
co-written a grant which provided funds for a fetal monitor for the
clinic at her campus. And she is a dedicated and caring presence in the
lives of the students she serves.
Wadsworth Recognized as Employee of the Month
Mary Wadsworth, maintenance clerk at
the Service Center, was recognized as Employee of the Month for
February. She began her career with the District in 1992. She’s the
first person to greet visitors to the Service Center and she does so
with a smile and a positive manner. Wadsworth’s willingness to go above
and beyond her duties is an example to all IISD employees.

school clusters. The students are: winner Ankita Krishnan from Davis
and alternate Reena Patel from Crockett for the Irving High cluster;
winner Kevin Reyes from Lee and alternate Divya Murali from Farine for
the MacArthur cluster; and winner Paul Dennis from Bowie and alternate
Natalie Prendes from Brown for the Nimitz cluster. |
